The quality of its technical and technological proposal in addition to its content knowledge, industrial dimension and capability of providing a global response, enabled Jouve to win the tender issued by GIE SESAM-Vitale.

Jouve will partner with Steria, a leading IT-enabled business services provider, to ensure the overall steering and delivery of this photo digitisation project. Steria’s experience, both of major transformation project management and of the social security and welfare sector, will ensure a secure, reliable and effective solution for GIE SESAM-Vitale.

Two major challenges: to digitise insurance ID photos and to safeguard the data

For this project, security is a primary consideration. Jouve, a key player in the digitisation and processing of document flows, has acquired strong experience in protecting sensitive data, subject to CNIL approval.

As project supervisor, the Jouve Group takes responsibility for global project delivery and provides the following services:
- Digitisation and control of the photo forms and data consistency compared with identity documents,
- Computerised management of discards,
- Storage and availability of digitised data,
- Archiving of documents and viewing of digital records,
- Synchronising the data-processing centres linked to the sickness insurance schemes

A major player in the health and insurance sectors, STERIA can rely on its know-how in IT security to support Jouve in steering the project.

Production is scheduled to begin in mid 2010. The contract will be entered into for a two-year, renewable term.

Jouve is a benchmark for document process outsourcing (incoming mail, invoices, contracts, patents, etc.), and will consolidate its position in the health sector.

About Jouve

On the back of its industrialised production capabilities, the Jouve Group has recognised expertise in the digitisation of content: every year, it digitises thousands of books of unequalled quality. With its workforce of 1,300, the Jouve Group generated turnover of some €105m in 2008.
