Paris, November 25, 2009 — Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext and NYSE: ALU) today announced that it will hold a live press conference on December 3rd, 2009 at 4:00 pm CET (10:00 am EST) at the company's headquarters, 54 rue La Boétie, Paris to announce important new offerings for service providers and developers in support of its Application Enablement vision.

Application Enablement is a new business and network model that enables the combination of the trusted capabilities of service providers with the speed and innovation of the Web to enable a new generation of services and provide both consumers and business users with richer experiences.

The press conference will be hosted by Kenneth Frank, president of Solutions and Marketing for Alcatel-Lucent.
