Following the press release issued earlier today, Unicredit informs that it has completed the sale of no. 38,760,548 shares of Banco de Sabadell, S.A., equal to approximately 3.23005% of the share
capital of such company and representing the entire stake held as of today by UniCredit.
As anticipated, the sale has been carried out by Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited and Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG, acting as Joint Bookrunners, through an
Accelerated Bookbuilding Offer (“ABB”) addressed to institutional investors. The sale price per share was equal to Euro 4.35, for an aggregate amount of Euro 168.6 million.
This disposal of the entire stake equal to 4.08%, as a result of above mentioned ABB and the previous sale to an institutional investor, generated for UniCredit a net capital gain of approximately Euro 30 million.
